The short version
- You own your business data. We only use it to run the service for you.
- Keep your login safe and use Zointy lawfully.
- Paid plans renew until you cancel; you can move back to the free plan any time.
- Indian law applies to these terms.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account, joining a workspace or otherwise using Zointy (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use Zointy on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that business.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
Your account and workspace
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your login.
- The person who creates a workspace is its Owner. Owners and Admins control who has access and with which role.
- Tell us promptly at support@zointy.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your data
Everything you put into Zointy — leads, customers, invoices, employee and payroll records, files and messages (“Customer Data”) — belongs to you. You give us permission to host, process, back up and display Customer Data only as needed to provide and improve the Service and to support you.
You are responsible for having the right to upload Customer Data, including personal data of your customers and employees, and for meeting your own obligations under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as the data fiduciary for that data. For that data we act on your instructions as your processor.
Acceptable use
Do not use Zointy to:
- break any law, including tax, labour, consumer-protection and anti-spam laws;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or message people who have not agreed to hear from you;
- upload malware, or try to probe, overload or break into the Service or other workspaces;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy;
- resell or copy the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend accounts that put the Service, other customers or the public at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
Plans, billing and cancellation
- The Starter plan is free. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices on our pricing page. Prices exclude applicable taxes such as GST.
- Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel or change plans.
- You can downgrade to Starter at any time. Unless the law requires otherwise, amounts already paid are not refundable, but we will consider genuine billing mistakes fairly.
- If we change prices, we will give you notice before the change applies to your next renewal.
Third-party services
Some features link out to services we do not control — for example WhatsApp click-to-chat, payment apps, email or video providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Zointy is not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless we say so.
Our intellectual property
The Zointy software, brand, logos and design belong to Zointy. These terms give you the right to use the Service — they do not transfer ownership. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve Zointy without obligation to you.
Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Zointy available and your data backed up, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may add, change or retire features; if we retire a feature you rely on in a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Zointy helps you calculate invoices, taxes and payroll, but it is not legal, tax or accounting advice. Please check important figures with a qualified professional.
Ending these terms
You can stop using Zointy and ask us to delete your workspace at any time. We may end or suspend access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. After a workspace is closed we may delete its Customer Data after a reasonable period; export anything you need first.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most problems can be solved quickly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of India will have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Zointy evolves. If changes are significant, we will notify workspace owners by email or in the app before they take effect. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
